Natıonal Sovereıgnty and Chıldren's Day ın TurKEY

   Today is very important day for Turkish people and especially children. Because today is National Sovereignty and Children's Day in Turkey. Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish Republic, reportedly dedicated the Turkish Republic to children. Solemn ceremonies and children’s festivals take place throughout Turkey on National Sovereignty and Children’s Day, held on April 23 each year.  National Sovereignty and Children’s Day is an official holiday in Turkey. Government offices, schools and most businesses are closed on this day.

NUESTRA GASTRONOMÍA (Our Gastronomy) Spain

NUESTRA GASTRONOMÍA.

     La gastronomía andaluza se caracteriza por utilizar alimentos propios de su territorio: frutas, verduras, legumbres, carnes, pescados… De la combinación de estos alimentos surgen platos tan tradicionales como el gazpacho andaluz, el pescaito frito, los huevos fritos con patatas, churros con chocolate…

     A continuación, los niños de 1º EP (6 años) os quieren mostrar algunos platos de nuestra gastronomía realizados por ellos usando la plastilina.

OUR GASTRONOMY.

     Andalusian cuisine is characterized by using its territory own food: fruits, vegetables, meat, fish ... From the combination of these foods as traditional dishes emerge as the Andalusian gazpacho, fried fish, fried eggs with potatoes, churros with chocolate ...

     Then children 1 EP (6 year) want to show some dishes of our cuisine made by them using clay.

Carnaval (Carnival) Spain

Una tradición divertida: el carnaval.

     

     El carnaval es una celebración pública de carácter lúdico que combina algunos elementos como disfraces, desfile y fiestas en la calle. Se celebra después de la Navidad y antes del inicio de la cuaresma católica.

     Durante el curso escolar 2014/2015 el carnaval en el CEIP Gloria Fuertes se celebró el 20 de febrero. Dicho día se hicieron actividades diversas:

-  Disfrazarse de diversas temáticas.

- Hacer un desfile por la calle con los niños de 6 a 8 años.

- Cantar y escenificar unas letrillas durante el pasacalle.

A fun tradition: Carnival.

     Carnival is a public celebration of playfulness that combines some elements such as costumes, parade and street parties. It is celebrated after Christmas and before the start of Lent Catholic.

     During the 2014/2015 school year the carnival in CEIP Gloria Fuertes was held on February 20. This day various activities were:

- Dressing up various topics.

- Make a parade down the street with children 6-8 years.

- Sing and act out some letrillas during the parade.

Semana Santa en Andalucía (Easter in Andalucía) Spain

SEMANA SANTA: tradiciones, costumbres, religiosidad

            A lo largo del año hay fechas especiales, llena de tradiciones y significados, y entre esas fechas está la Semana Santa; conmemoración anual cristiana de la Pasión, Muerte y Resurrección de Jesús de Nazaret.

            Más allá de las creencias religiosas, Semana Santa, además, es una época llena de tradiciones que se celebra en todo el mundo, y cada país y ciudad, le da el colorido que lo caracteriza, muy de la mano, eso sí, de la celebración de los misterios que contemplamos.

            En Andalucía, sobre todo, de día y de noche, las calles se convierten en espacios donde se mezclan la música de los tambores, el colorido de las flores y el arte de las esculturas religiosas. Son las populares procesiones. Y como muestra de las mismas, nuestros alumnos y alumnas de la asignatura de Religión Católica, han dado buena representación, construyendo pasos o tronos en miniatura.

        

        A continuación presentamos algunas fotos de los trabajos realizados, los participantes, así como de los ganadores del concurso, que hemos llevado a cabo.

There are special days all through the year. They are full of traditions and different meanings. Easter is one of those important dates; it is an annual Christian commemoration of Jesus of Nazareth's Passion, Death and Resurrection.

Further over religious believes, Easter also is a period full of traditions which is celebrated all over the world, and every city and country gives local colour similar to the celebration of the mysteries we contemplate.

Andalusia's streets turn, for the whole day and night, into spaces where drums, colours of the flowers and art are mixed. They are the popular processions. Our pupils have made typical "pasos or tronos" in miniature during Catholic Religion lessons.
